Sami Kivela and I are so excited to announce that DEER EDITOR has landed a new home with Mad Cave Studios and will see a release in stores in 2024 for the very first time!

Tell me this isn’t already the greatest comic book cover for 2024 :]

Our 3 issue antler noir mystery comic, starring Bucky [the editor of the crime beat at his newspaper, and also a deer], is launching in January and we need you to preorder your copies now and then also make some noise for our strange anthropomorphic crime series.

The comic is completely finished, so we will hit our 3 month release schedule guaranteed. It’s coloured for the very first time, so it’s got a great new style on the page. And it’s just one of my favourite things I’ve ever done, plus it’s a collaboration with Sami, who is one of the modern all time greats!

This comic is going to be one of the true icons I leave behind and I’m so excited to get it into stores - I hope you’ll join me in this antler noir hysteria for 2024. I have so much to say about this comic, and I’ll drop more love and info in the coming weeks, but for now I want to do everything I can to get you to buck around and find out!
